Manchester United are reportedly not currently in discussions with Barcelona over a move for Frenkie de Jong despite the recent speculation surrounding the midfielder.
The Netherlands international has again been a key player for his Catalan club during the 2021-22 campaign, making 19 appearances in all competitions, contributing one goal and two assists in the process.
However, there have been suggestions that Barcelona would be open to selling the £75m-rated midfielder during the January window in order to raise transfer funds.
Man United have been strongly linked with the 24-year-old, while Paris Saint-Germain are also believed to be admirers.
However, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the 20-time English champions are not in talks to sign the midfielder, and it is 'still quiet' around the Dutchman despite recent rumours.
De Jong's father recently addressed the speculation surrounding a potential January move for his son.
