Bayern Munich defender Lucas Hernandez emerges as a transfer target for Manchester United, Real Madrid and Barcelona, according to a report.

Manchester United, Barcelona and Real Madrid are reportedly all interested in signing Bayern Munich defender Lucas Hernandez during this summer's transfer window.

The 26-year-old has again been an important player for Bayern during the 2021-22 campaign, making 27 appearances in all competitions, including 20 outings in the Bundesliga.

Hernandez still has more than two years left to run on his contract at Allianz Arena, but there has recently been speculation surrounding his future, with the France international said to be open to a new challenge.

According to Fichajes, Man United are ready to explore a summer move for the former Atletico Madrid youngster, with the Red Devils looking to boost their defence in the upcoming market.

The report claims that Barcelona and Real Madrid are also keeping a close eye on the developments surrounding the central defender, who is said to be open to a return to Spain.

Hernandez, who missed the start of the 2021-22 campaign through injury, has made 89 appearances for Bayern since joining the club from Atletico in July 2019.
