Manchester United forward Romelu Lukaku suggests that he is open to a future transfer to a club in Serie A.

Manchester United forward Romelu Lukaku has suggested that he has ambitions to play in Serie A at some point in his career.

Lukaku has spent the majority of his professional career in the Premier League, and the Belgium international currently has just under four years remaining on his contract at Old Trafford.

However, the 25-year-old has indicated that he holds an interest in testing himself in another country before the end of his professional career.

When quizzed over a future transfer to Italy, Lukaku told La Gazzetta dello Sport: "Why not? I hope so."

Lukaku will get a taste of Italian football when United face Juventus both home and away in the Champions League over the coming weeks.
