Liverpool and Arsenal have reportedly joined Manchester United in the race for Bayern Munich attacker Thomas Muller.
The German international was forced to play down rumours of an exit after he was linked to Old Trafford.
Reports have claimed that Louis van Gaal would be interested in taking Muller to the North-West outfit should he be appointed as United manager.
However, reports in Germany have claimed that Liverpool and Arsenal are prepared to swoop if United fail to land Muller's signature, according to The Express.
It has been suggested that the 24-year-old is unhappy with his role at the Allianz Arena under manager Pep Guardiola.
