Leeds United have reportedly made a £25m offer for Manchester United attacker Daniel James.
The Wales international came close to joining the Whites from Swansea City in January 2019, but he ultimately remained at the Liberty Stadium before moving to United at the end of the 2019-20 campaign.
James has been a regular for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side since his arrival, making 48 appearances in all competitions, contributing four goals and seven assists in the process.
The 22-year-old has been linked with a loan move to Elland Road over the last week, although it is understood that the Red Devils are not prepared to let the attacker leave on a short-term basis.
According to Football Insider, Marcelo Bielsa's side have now offered United £25m for the Welshman in the hope of securing his signature before the end of the transfer window.
James has made two appearances for his current club this season, although he was left out of the squad for last weekend's Premier League clash with Brighton & Hove Albion.
