Jose Mourinho seeking 'a magician' for Manchester United

Jose Mourinho has reportedly tasked Manchester United scouts with finding him 'a magician' in the January transfer window.

A tally of 32 points from their opening 14 games this season has left the Red Devils with an eight-point deficit to Manchester City at the top of the table, and Mourinho is looking to redress the balance by dipping into the winter market.

According to The Sun, the Portuguese is looking for a player who can trouble opposition defences as he has apparently identified a "lack of creativity" as the reason they are lagging behind their city rivals.

Other reports today have suggested that Paris Saint-Germain ace Neymar is among the players on United's radar.

The Red Devils will look to close the gap to City when they take on Arsenal at the Emirates this weekend.
