Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has insisted that there is "no chance" of David de Gea leaving Old Trafford in this summer's transfer window.

De Gea is approaching the final year of his contract at the Theatre of Dreams, although the club have the option to extend his deal until the summer of 2020.

Real Madrid continue to be linked with a move for the Spain international, who came close to moving to the Bernabeu in 2015 before a faulty fax machine saw the deal fall through.

The 27-year-old's future has again been the subject of much speculation, but Mourinho told reporters at his pre-match press conference ahead of Sunday's clash with Arsenal that there was "no chance" of the stopper leaving.

De Gea has kept 17 clean sheets in 34 Premier League appearances during the 2017-18 campaign.
