Everton are exploring the possibility of making a January transfer bid for Manchester United winger Ashley Young, according to a report.
The 31-year-old attacker has been limited to time on the pitch under current United boss Jose Mourinho, despite enjoying a resurgent spell under former coach Louis van Gaal last campaign.
According to ESPN, Ronald Koeman and the Toffees could aim to exploit Young's lack of minutes by launching a move for the winger after the Christmas period, but they may also face competition from three other Premier League clubs in the shape of West Bromwich Albion, Swansea City and Watford.
Young originally joined United in 2011 and claimed the 2013 Premier League title under club legend Sir Alex Ferguson.
