Christian Eriksen is 'practically certain' to leave Tottenham Hotspur on a free transfer in the summer, according to Jose Mourinho's friend Eladio Parames.

Christian Eriksen is 'practically certain' to remain at Tottenham Hotspur for the rest of the season, according to a close friend of Spurs boss Jose Mourinho.

The player, who joined Spurs in 2013, has six months remaining on his current contract.

While Manchester United and Real Madrid have been linked with January bids for the Denmark international, Eladio Parames suggests that the playmaker plans to wait until the summer before leaving Spurs on a free transfer.

Speaking to Record, Parames said: "Perhaps it is possible to see the magic that Mourinho invented to positively manage Eriksen's presence for the final months. The zero-cost exit is practically certain."

Spurs are allegedly keen to sell Eriksen at the beginning of 2020 in order to bring in a fee for one of their key men.
