Eric Bailly will not be leaving Manchester United on loan before the end of the January transfer window, according to a report.

Eric Bailly will reportedly not be leaving Manchester United on loan before the end of the month.

The centre-back's future has been the subject of speculation in recent weeks, with AC Milan and Roma both believed to be keen on signing the Ivory Coast international during the January transfer window.

The 27-year-old has only made four Premier League appearances for the Red Devils this season, with Raphael Varane, Victor Lindelof and Harry Maguire ahead of him in the pecking order.

Phil Jones's return to fitness has also led to claims that Bailly could be allowed to leave Old Trafford on a short-term basis before the end of the month.

However, according to English journalist Jonathan Shrager, the Ivorian will not be on the move over the next few days despite the recent speculation.

Bailly, who still has two-and-a-half years left to run on his contract at Old Trafford, has made 113 appearances for Man United since arriving from Villarreal in July 2016.
