Angel di Maria passes Manchester United medical?

A report claims that Angel di Maria passes a medical ahead of his proposed switch to Manchester United.

Angel di Maria has reportedly moved a step closer to becoming a Manchester United player by passing a medical at the club's Carrington training base.

The Argentine has spent most of the day at the complex, where he has been putting the finishing touches to his switch from Real Madrid.

Having concluded the medical part of the deal, the 26-year-old should officially be confirmed as United's record signing within the next couple of hours, according to Sky Sports News.

It is believed that United will pay their Spanish counterparts £59.7m for the winger.
