Angel di Maria 'to undergo Manchester United medical today'

Angel di Maria will reportedly undergo a medical today before finalising his British record transfer to Manchester United.

Angel di Maria is reportedly expected to complete the finishing touches on his British record transfer from Real Madrid to Manchester United today.

The Argentina international will arrive at Old Trafford with a reported £59.7m price tag after the two clubs agreed a fee this week.

Rumours of Di Maria's move to United intensified when Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti confirmed at the weekend that the 26-year-old had bid farewell to his teammates.

According to Sky Sports News, Di Maria, who arrived in Manchester yesterday, will undergo a medical today before finalising a contract with the former Premier League champions.

Paris Saint-Germain were also linked with a move for the player, but reports have claimed that the Ligue 1 side's Financial Fair Play restrictions forced them out of a deal.
