Manchester United have reportedly not offered David de Gea a new contract, despite suggestions that the goalkeeper is happy to commit his future to the club.
De Gea has previously been strongly linked with Real Madrid, but the Spanish stopper has seemingly become increasingly settled in the North-West of England over the past 12 months.
The 27-year-old has also starred for United this season but according to Yahoo Sports, United are yet to reward De Gea for his form between the sticks.
The Premier League giants have the option of adding a year to his existing deal - which would see the contract last until 2020 - but the general consensus is that De Gea is deserving of a pay-rise due to his importance to the team.
A previous report has claimed that United are prepared to pay De Gea in the region of £350,000 per week in order to keep the goalkeeper at the club for the prime years of his career.
De Gea is nearing seven years at Old Trafford, with a total of 294 outings being made in all competitions.
