Danny Ings has reiterated the fact that he is contracted to Southampton amid links with a move to Manchester United.
With the Red Devils supposedly running the risk of missing out on Harry Kane and Erling Braut Haaland, Ings has been mentioned as a cut-price alternative for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer this summer.
Ings has so far refused to commit his future to Southampton beyond 2022, but he has affirmed that he is ignoring the rumours surrounding his future and focusing on a strong end to the season with the Saints.
Speaking to talkSPORT, the former Liverpool man said: "I've got a contract until the summer of 2022. I haven't really acknowledged them (transfer rumours).
"I've just been focused on each game. Ultimately, I've still got a contract here. My main focus is to finish the season strong."
Saints manager Ralph Hasenhuttl remains optimistic over a new deal for Ings, who has battled through injuries to score 12 goals in 28 Premier League appearances this term.
