Chelsea are reportedly still interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain defender Presnel Kimpembe.
Thomas Tuchel's side are looking to bolster their defensive options following the departures of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen.
A number of names have been linked with filling the void in Chelsea's backline including Nathan Ake, Matthijs de Ligt and Gleison Bremer.
Kimpembe has also been the subject of interest from the Blues, with a recent report indicating that the 26-year-old was on Chelsea's centre-back shortlist.
According to Goal, the London club remain interested in the PSG centre-back despite failing in their previous efforts to sign the player.
However, the Blues could face competition from Atletico Madrid, who have reportedly discussed a move with Kimpembe's representatives, while Manchester United and Juventus have previously been linked with the PSG academy product.
The France international, who has two years left to run on his current contract, has made 220 appearances for the French champions, helping his side win five Ligue 1 titles.
