Real Madrid boss Rafael Benitez has reiterated his intention to keep Manchester United target Sergio Ramos at the club this summer.
The Spain defender has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford, with United reportedly seeing several big-money bids knocked back.
Speculation is rife that the Red Devils are preparing to make one last offer for the 29-year-old, whose contract expires in 2017, but Benitez says that he is central to his plans.
"There is a lot of talk about [Ramos's] situation. For me he is an enormous professional," he told reporters.
"He applies himself and does everything that the team and I ask. The president has already commented that he is staying with the club."
United have signed four players this summer - Memphis Depay, Matteo Darmian, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin.
