Brighton & Hove Albion defender Ben White is reportedly open to a move to Manchester United for the 2021-22 season.
The 23-year-old played a starring role in Leeds United's triumphant 2019-20 Championship campaign, and his performances for Leeds and Brighton have seen him linked with a move to Liverpool in the past.
White has quickly established himself as a regular in Graham Potter's defence with 28 Premier League starts this season, but the Seagulls will face an uphill battle to keep him this summer, especially if they suffer relegation.
According to the Manchester Evening News, White hopes to be plying his trade at a Champions League club in the next few years, and Man United is a possible destination as they prioritise a move for a new centre-back this summer.
However, the report adds that Brighton will fight tooth and nail to keep White on the books at the Amex Stadium, but a fee of £35m could be enough to prise him away from the South Coast.
White, who has also displayed his qualities in midfield this term, remains contracted to the Seagulls until the end of the 2023-24 campaign.
