Newcastle United striker Demba Ba has denied association with an agent claiming that the Magpies frontman is being targeted by Manchester United.
The 26-year-old, who is currently on African Cup of Nations duty with Senegal, has been linked with a move to the Premier League champions via a man named Armand Doorn, claiming to be a member of Ba's representation.
Ba wrote on Twitter: "Really, I don't know how desperate this "armand doorn" can be to talk like he's my agent!! He's nothing for me. Stop lying and show respect."
Rumours of a Newcastle departure have surrounded the striker following the emergence of a release clause believed to be less than £7m.
