Arsenal are reportedly keen to sign Bayer Leverkusen centre-back Edmond Tapsoba this summer.
The 22-year-old joined Leverkusen from Vitoria Guimaraes in January 2020 and has made 61 appearances for the German side in all competitions, including 39 outings during the 2020-21 campaign.
Earlier this year, it was reported that Manchester United were keeping a close eye on the defender, who is thought to be valued by his German side in the region of £52m.
According to Italian journalist Gianluigi Longari, Arsenal have placed Tapsoba at the top of their shortlist, with the club expected to move for a new centre-back in the upcoming market.
The Burkina Faso international has a contract with Leverkusen until June 2026, placing his Bundesliga outfit in a strong position when it comes to any potential negotiations.
The Gunners have also recently been linked with a move for Sevilla's Jules Kounde.
