Arsenal have reportedly emerged as contenders for the signature of Sevilla centre-back Jules Kounde.
The 22-year-old played a starring role in his side's La Liga campaign, chipping in with two goals in 34 appearances as Sevilla secured Champions League qualification.
Kounde's performances have unsurprisingly led to interest from other top European clubs, with Real Madrid and Manchester United rumoured to be weighing up an approach for the France Under-21s international.
Now, The Athletic reports that Arsenal have also taken a liking to Kounde, as David Luiz is set to follow Shkodran Mustafi and Sokratis out of the exit door when his deal expires next month.
However, the report adds that it would take a bid of £50m to prise the former Bordeaux man away from Sevilla, while the player himself is unlikely to join a club without Champions League football.
Kounde remains contracted to Sevilla for another three years, and he has already won one Europa League title with the club since arriving in 2019.
