Manchester United winger Amad Diallo has allegedly emerged as a transfer target for Leeds United.
The Yorkshire giants are currently going through somewhat of a transitional period, with their ownership changing hands soon after their relegation from the Premier League.
However, despite the importance of preparing for their return to the Championship, Leeds remain without a head coach with that process still ongoing.
In the background, though, club officials are expected to be compiling a shortlist of potential additions, aware that there will be suitors for many of their current young crop.
Leeds will have the opportunity to take more advantage of the loan market now that they are back in the second tier, rather than having to commit to paying substantial transfer fees in a bid to regain their Premier League status.

According to The Mirror, Leeds have taken an interest in trying to tempt United in loaning Diallo to them for the 2023-24 campaign.
The Ivory Coast international has just enjoyed the most productive year of his career having been allowed to spend the season in the Championship with Sunderland.
As many as 14 goals and four assists came from his 42 appearances in all competitions, with the Black Cats only missing out on promotion to the top flight after losing in the Championship playoff semi-finals.
Given the level of his progress at the Stadium of Light, there has been a suggestion that Diallo will be provided with the opportunity to try to impress Erik ten Hag during pre-season.

Although United are in the market for fresh talent this summer, they are unable to spend the fees that they would like due to the ongoing takeover process and FFP.
That may ultimately see at least one of Diallo or Facundo Pellestri handed more game time, it unclear right now which of those players are higher in the pecking order.
A bigger stumbling block for Leeds could be their Championship status, United likely preferring for Diallo to spend time in a higher league now that he will turn 21 years of age next month.
Despite his potential, Diallo has only made a total of 17 appearances in top-tier leagues, 10 of those outings coming for Rangers in the Scottish Premiership.
