Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri has insisted that Arturo Vidal is "not on the market" amid intense speculation linking him to Manchester United.
On Thursday, it was reported that the Chilean had already completed a medical with the Premier League giants ahead of a big-money move to Old Trafford.
However, Allegri claims that the 27-year-old will stay with the Bianconeri beyond the summer, while sporting director Giuseppe Marotta echoed those sentiments.
"Vidal is not on the market. I've spoken with him and he's staying at Juve," the former AC Milan coach is quoted as saying by Sky Sport Italia.
Marotta added: "He's our player and we improved his contract a year ago. We're happy with him and he's happy with us, so I don't think there will be any problems."
Vidal, whose contract with the Bianconeri expires in 2017, has established himself as a prominent figure in a Juventus side that have dominated Italian football recently by winning three successive Serie A titles.
