Wigan Athletic have never taken a point off Manchester United in the Premier League era. Here, Sports Mole assesses their chances of getting off the mark against the champions.

Manchester United have found the net on 21 occasions during their last five meetings with Wigan Athletic.

Perhaps even more worrying for the hosting Latics, they haven't been able to breach the United net during any of those matches.

Roberto Martinez's side will have to break their recent duck against the champions tomorrow night without the services of Colombian striker Hugo Rodallega, who is still suffering with a muscular injury.

Rodallega's continued absence will allow Franco Di Santo to continue in his role as a lone centre-forward.

Visiting United are expected to have Nani and Michael available for selection after injury, although the match will come too soon for Brazilian midfielder Anderson.

If Wigan manage to avoid defeat at the DW Stadium, it will be the first time that they have taken a point off the Red Devils in the Premier League era.

Current form:

Wigan: LDDWWL
Man United: WWWWWW

Wigan: Al-Habsi; Alcaraz, Caldwell, Figueroa, Boyce; McCarthy, McArthur, Beausejour; Moses, Maloney; Di Santo

Man United: De Gea; Jones, Evans Ferdinand, Evra; Young, Giggs, Carrick, Valencia; Hernandez, Rooney

Sports Mole says: 1-2
