Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reportedly made a U-turn on plans to take his Manchester United squad abroad in the lead up to their Premier League clash with Liverpool.

Manchester United have ditched plans to hold a warm-weather training camp abroad later this month, according to a report.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took his squad to Dubai in January and is rumoured to have had plans in place to travel to Portugal or Spain after next Monday's FA Cup tie with Chelsea.

Rather than leaving behind their Carrington HQ in the build-up to the visit of Liverpool on February 24, however, the Daily Mail claims that Solskjaer has made a U-turn and United will now stay put.

The caretaker boss accepts that it is not feasible to go away, it is suggested, with just six days between matches.

United have won 10 of their 11 games since Solskjaer replaced Jose Mourinho in December, drawing the other, and face Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 clash on Tuesday evening.
