Manchester United youngster Joe Riley 'labels tour exclusion a shambles'

Manchester United youngster Joe Riley appears to label his exclusion from the club's summer tour of China as a "shambles".

Manchester United youngster Joe Riley has reportedly described his exclusion from the club's summer tour of China as a "shambles".

The 19-year-old was left out of Jose Mourinho's 25-man squad for the tour of the Far East later this month, where United will take on Borussia Dortmund and Manchester City in the International Champions Cup.

Riley appeared to take the news badly, and later that day the versatile midfielder tweeted a message that simply read: "Shambles."

Riley has since deleted the post, although a number of fans across social media took screenshots before the youngster could remove his comments.

The midfielder, who has also been playing at left-back in the Under-21 side, is yet to make a Premier League appearance for the Red Devils, but did play in the FA Cup and Europa League under Louis van Gaal last term.
