Manchester City's £65m kit deal with Puma is reportedly not under threat, even if their two-year ban from European competition is upheld.

Manchester City's £65m kit deal with Puma is reportedly not under threat, even if their two-year ban from European competition is upheld.

The club were issued the ban by UEFA after they were found guilty of breaching Financial Fair Play regulations.

According to the Daily Mail, City will be protected commercially if the ban is upheld and do not face the same penalties that could greet Manchester United in their relationship with Adidas.

The report adds that United could lose more than £20m from Adidas if they fail to qualify for the Champions League for two consecutive seasons.

However, the same penalties are reportedly not included in City's deal with Puma, who supply kits to all of the City group clubs.

The club's commercial revenue was at £228.8m during the last financial year, 1.5% less than the previous year.
