Manchester United striker Federico Macheda is hopeful that he can make an impact at Old Trafford this season.
The 20-year-old will have a chance to force his way into Sir Alex Ferguson's first team for the new campaign after his loan deal at Queens Park Rangers was cut short due to an ankle injury.
"It's great to be back at Manchester United," Macheda told the club's official website.
"When I got to QPR things went a bit wrong, though, as I was feeling my ankle a lot. But now I feel a lot better and want to start the season well. It's a big season for me."
The Italian forward has been with the former Premier League champions since 2008.
