Paris Saint-Germain football advisor Luis Campos has said that Kylian Mbappe is currently only playing at between "40% or 50% of his potential".
The 23-year-old has again been in brilliant form for his French club during the 2022-23 campaign, scoring 19 goals and registering five assists in 20 appearances in all competitions.
Mbappe had been expected to leave PSG over the summer to make the move to Real Madrid on a free transfer, but he ultimately signed a new deal in the French capital.
The forward has recently suggested that he is planning to remain with the club on a long-term basis amid links with the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool.
Campos, speaking at an event in Porto, has said that the Frenchman has huge room for improvement despite his impressive numbers since arriving from Monaco.

"Mbappe is still only at 40% or 50% of his potential, and I tell him that every day. He can still give a lot more because he is a player who has not yet finished his training," Campos told reporters.
"There is the speed of maturation, that is to say that not everyone evolves at the same rate. Mbappe at 16 was already developed at all levels. Physically, he was very strong and had an understanding of the game worthy of a 26-year-old player."
Mbappe has scored 190 goals and registered 93 assists in 237 appearances for PSG since arriving from Monaco in 2017, initially on a loan deal.
The forward has scored 34 goals and registered 26 assists in 50 Champions League outings, while he has managed 131 goals and 51 assists in 156 appearances for the capital outfit in Ligue 1.
Mbappe is currently with the France squad at the 2022 World Cup, where he will be looking to add to the 28 goals that he has managed for the national team.

There have been suggestions that the attacker has an influential role at PSG behind the scenes, but PSG head coach Christophe Galtier recently insisted that he was not "above the club".
"He embodies the project, there can be no doubt. But when I say that he embodies the project, it is not that he is above the club,'' Galtier told RMC Sport.
''Kylian is at the same level as all the other players. On the same level as Leo Messi who has an incredible career, who is the greatest player in the history of football. Kylian is on the same level as Neymar.''
A recent report claimed that Man United viewed Mbappe as a possible replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, with the Portuguese potentially having his contract terminated by the 20-time English champions.
