Paris Saint-Germain reportedly have no interest in signing Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo following the striker's explosive interview with Piers Morgan.

Paris Saint-Germain reportedly have no interest in a move for Manchester United attacker Cristiano Ronaldo.

The 37-year-old is expected to be ostracized from the Red Devils squad after launching a brutal attack on the club during a recent interview with Piers Morgan.

Ronaldo has only been a peripheral figure under Erik ten Hag during the Dutchman's reign, and he stated that he had no respect for the former Ajax manager.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner also hit out at the Glazer family, claiming that the owners do not care about the club, as well as aiming critical comments at Ralf Rangnick, Gary Neville and Wayne Rooney.

Ronaldo's words naturally stunned the footballing landscape, and Man United are thought to be taking legal advice over the interview, which will be aired in full later this week.

Ronaldo is still contracted to Man United until the summer, but the Red Devils are expected to try to offload him in January, as he has likely played his final game for the club.

Given the Portugal international's extortionate salary, PSG are thought to be one of a handful of clubs who possess the financial capabilities to sign him in 2023.

However, CBS Sports journalist Ben Jacobs claims that the French champions are giving no consideration to the thought of a deal for Ronaldo given their big names in attack already.

Kylian Mbappe, Neymar and Lionel Messi are all collecting hefty wages while starring as Christophe Galtier's front three, and the latter is expected to be offered a new deal after the World Cup.

As a result, PSG will decline the chance to sign Ronaldo, who supposedly felt that the opportunity to move to Paris was there a few years ago, as Galtier's side are already considering other transfer targets.

Ronaldo has only hit three goals in 16 games for the Red Devils this term, but he had begun to enjoy a string of regular starts prior to publication of the Piers Morgan interview.

With PSG out of the running, the former Real Madrid and Juventus man could struggle to find clubs willing to take him on next year, especially if he wants to continue playing in the Champions League.

A return to Sporting Lisbon has been strongly mooted for Ronaldo, and the Portuguese outfit's manager Ruben Amorim recently affirmed that the striker was still well-liked back home.

Should Jorge Mendes fail to secure a transfer for Ronaldo in the January transfer window, the 37-year-old is expected to depart as a free agent when his Old Trafford contract expires in the summer.

Man United are already on the hunt for replacements for the wantaway striker, and a separate report has claimed that Ten Hag's side are considering an audacious January move for Mbappe.
