Denis Law: 'Radamel Falcao will come good at Manchester United'

Radamel Falcao is "a very good player" who will soon prove his worth at Manchester United, according to Old Trafford legend Denis Law.

Manchester United legend Denis Law believes that Radamel Falcao will soon settle in the Premier League and "come good" for the club.

The 28-year-old striker has made just 10 appearances for the Red Devils since joining on loan from Monaco in the summer, scoring one goal in that time.

Despite injury problems plaguing Falcao's early months at Old Trafford, Law, who spent 11 years at United before leaving to join rivals Manchester City, insists that the Colombian will soon prove his worth.

"Falcao looks well and is a very good player," he is quoted as saying by the Daily Star. "There is no doubt about that and once he gets fully fit and feels right, he will come good.

"Good players will always play well, no matter which team they go to. It's just a matter of slotting in. I think it can be difficult for overseas players to adapt. Not as difficult probably as it was in our day because the world has shrunk. We had a telephone and that was basically it.

"Now with the communications we have today, you don't feel so isolated from another country but it's still not easy to settle into a new country with a different way of life, different food and of course, the language as well. But these guys are young and pick things up."

Reports emerged last month claiming that Falcao has been given until April to prove his worth at United, before the club decide whether to offer him a permanent deal.
