The strength of Manchester United's squad impresses Ryan Giggs ahead of the Christmas fixtures.

Ryan Giggs has hailed the strength in depth that the Manchester United squad currently possesses.

Heading into the Christmas period, the Red Devils will be at virtually full strength for a run of a number of fixtures in just a couple of weeks.

However, Giggs believes that there is enough quality at Old Trafford to get them through the festive matches.

"The bench is very strong and some players aren't even getting on it," he told the club's official website. "The squad is looking good at the moment and we've got our captain, Nemanja Vidic coming back soon.

"We have got everything is in place for the busy Christmas period."

United are currently six points clear at the top of the table.
