Zeki Fryers has claimed that he is ready to fill one of the spots in Tottenham Hotspur's defence on a regular basis next season.
The 21-year-old was used 16 times under Andre Villas-Boas and Tim Sherwood in the last campaign, and he believes that the lessons he learned since making his debut last August will help him to impress new manager Mauricio Pochettino.
"I've got a lot of experience and further built my character throughout the season," Fryers told the club's official website.
"Playing certain games has also boosted my confidence, which is good for me moving forward, and hopefully I can take all that into next season.
"There's been a lot of competition in each position and there's not one position that you can say is guaranteed."
Fryers came up through the ranks with Manchester United, before joining Standard Liege for a short spell.
