Tottenham Hotspur announce Tony Parks departure

Tottenham Hotspur announce that goalkeeping coach Tony Parks has left the team after six years in the role.

Tottenham Hotspur have announced that goalkeeping coach Tony Parks has left the club's coaching staff.

The 51-year-old, who spent eight years at the club during his playing career, was appointed as the first-team goalkeeping coach in 2008, and has worked alongside Harry Redknapp, Andre Villas-Boas and Tim Sherwood during his spell at White Hart Lane.

In a statement on their website, Spurs said: "We wish Tony every success for the future and he will always be welcome at the Lane."

Tottenham confirmed the appointment of Mauricio Pochettino as their new manager earlier this week.
