Manchester United have reportedly made plans to offer Darren Fletcher a new contract.
The Scottish midfielder recently returned to first-team action after seeing his playing time limited due to an ongoing battle with ulcerative colitis.
United manager David Moyes is believed to be pleased with the progress made by Fletcher in the past few months and would be willing to hand him a new deal, Goal.com reports.
The 30-year-old's current contract expires at the end of next season and he has not yet indicated where he would like to play his future football.
Fletcher has made nine appearances in all competitions this season.
