Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini will face no action from the Football Association after he was cleared of intentionally spitting at Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero in Sunday's derby at the Etihad.
The Belgian midfielder bent down to shout at Aguero after a penalty appeal from the Argentine in yesterday's match, and TV replays appeared to show spit leaving his mouth.
However, the FA today decided that the spitting was not intentional and has cleared Fellaini of any wrongdoing.
The player himself also took to Twitter earlier today to hit out at the spitting stories.
