Radamel Falcao: 'Level of competition at Manchester United is good for everyone'

Manchester United loanee Radamel Falcao insists that the level of competition at the club is healthy and can only be good for the Old Trafford outfit.

Manchester United loanee Radamel Falcao has insisted that the level of competition between players at the club is good for everyone involved.

The Colombian frontman has found it difficult to hold down a spot in Louis van Gaal's starting XI since arriving from Monaco, mainly because of a persistent injury and the abilities of strike partners Robin van Persie, Wayne Rooney and young James Wilson.

"We have a group of strikers who are very good and that's good for everyone," said Falcao, according to The Express.

"That means there is always a level of competition between us, healthy competition, and obviously I am very happy with how the team is doing."

Falcao has netted just once since joining the club on a reported £250,000-a-week loan deal.
