Manchester United chief executive David Gill has admitted that the Premier League champions will not add any more players to their squad before the end of the transfer window.
The Red Devils have been closely linked with a move for Inter Milan star Wesley Sneijder, who revealed that talks were taking place between the two clubs.
Despite these reports, Gill has revealed that there will be no additional signings making their way to Old Trafford.
"I don't think there will be another arrival," Gill told Sky Sports News. "We're very comfortable with that. We've looked at various players but we're comfortable with the squad.
"We'll progress now and I'm sure Sir Alex will get the best out of them over the next few months.
"We've made some great additions and are well equipped for the months ahead."
United continue their defence of the Premier League trophy by hosting Arsenal at Old Trafford on Sunday (August 28).
