Steve Bruce hails "great" Ryan Giggs

Hull City manager Steve Bruce describes Manchester United interim manager and midfielder Ryan Giggs as "one of the greats".

Steve Bruce has described Ryan Giggs as "one of the greats" following Hull City's defeat to Manchester United in the Premier League this evening.

The United interim manager brought himself off the bench during the 3-1 win to set up Robin van Persie's late goal at Old Trafford.

The Hull manager told reporters: "If it has ended for Ryan Giggs it has been some career. There will never be anyone as decorated. Sometimes the word great is used too often but he has been one of the greats.

"It can't be dark times when you have someone like Adnan Januzaj, he is only 18 and he looks a proper, proper player. In Januzaj they have the outstanding young player in Europe."

Hull host Everton in their final Premier League game of the season on Sunday.
