Manchester United defender Luke Shaw to miss four weeks through injury?

Manchester United will reportedly be without defender Luke Shaw for the next four weeks due to a hamstring injury.

Manchester United defender Luke Shaw has reportedly been sidelined for four weeks with a hamstring injury.

After a couple of seasons in and out of the team, Shaw has established himself as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first choice at left-back.

However, the England international was withdrawn during the first half of United's Premier League fixture with Crystal Palace at the weekend.

While it was initially suggested that Shaw may be ready to face his former club Southampton on Saturday, talkSPORT claims that he will not return until the end of September.

As well as the visit to St Mary's, Shaw may also be absent for the top-flight fixtures against Leicester City and West Ham United.
