Manchester United have been handed a huge fitness boost as star midfielder Paul Pogba has returned to light training, a month after being ruled out indefinitely through injury.
The France international damaged his hamstring in the 3-0 win over Basel on September 12, leading to fears that he faced being out of action until the end of the year.
Boss Jose Mourinho only confirmed that United would be without the 24-year-old for the "long term", refusing to put a timeframe on his return to first-team action.
Pogba has made a swifter-than-expected comeback, however, having taken part in light training in the gym following a short break in Florida during the international break.
The former Juventus ace took to Instagram to update his followers on his rehabilitation programme, posting a number of videos that show him jogging on a treadmill and working in the gym.
Reports suggest that France expect to have Pogba in their ranks before the next international break, which begins in early November.
