Manchester United are reportedly hopeful that Sergio Reguilon will be available for Saturday's Premier League clash with Brentford at Old Trafford.
The 26-year-old has impressed for the Red Devils since arriving on loan from Tottenham Hotspur at the start of September, making three appearances for the club.
Reguilon was signed due to injuries for both Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia, but the Spaniard has missed Man United's last three games in all competitions.
The left-back came off against Burnley in the Premier League on September 23 due to illness, and he has since missed out against Crystal Palace (twice) and Galatasaray due to a hamstring issue.
Sofyan Amrabat has been pressed into action at left-back due to Reguilon's absence, but the Morocco international has found it difficult to adapt to the position.

Man United suffered a 3-2 loss to Galatasaray in the Champions League on Tuesday, which made it six defeats from their 10 matches in all competitions this season.
The Red Devils have made their worst start to a league season for 34 years, losing four of their opening seven games in the competition, including a 1-0 reverse to Crystal Palace last Saturday.
Man United will now host Brentford ahead of the international break, and there is huge pressure on head coach Erik ten Hag to deliver a positive result.
According to the Manchester Evening News, the 20-time English champions will 'reassess the risk element' of using Reguilon against the Bees this weekend.

The report claims that Reguilon has taken part in individual sessions, but he is yet to train alongside his teammates, which will need to change for him to stand a chance of being involved on Saturday.
Ten Hag admitted after the clash with Galatasaray that the team currently lack balance on the left, with Shaw, Malacia and Reguilon all on the sidelines.
"There are no excuses. Maybe we have a little unbalance [on the] left side but we can't make the errors we are making. We have to do better, we have to win our games," the manager told reporters.
Diogo Dalot is capable of playing as a left-back, but Aaron Wan-Bissaka's injury means that the Portugal international is required at right-back.
Man United are said to be open to making Reguilon's move permanent, having allegedly been impressed with the Spaniard since his arrival on loan from Tottenham.
