Manchester United team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Norwich City

Sports Mole rounds up Manchester United's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash with Norwich City.

Manchester United travel to Carrow Road for a meeting with Norwich City in the Premier League on Sunday.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men will be looking to build on an improved performance during a 1-1 draw with Liverpool last weekend followed by their first away win in 12 games against Partizan.

Norwich, on the other hand, have not won a game since beating Manchester City 3-2 last month but will feel that they can cause another upset against a Manchester club.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up United's injury and suspension news ahead of this fixture.

Eric Bailly

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

The Ivorian sustained a knee ligament injury during pre-season and is not expected to make a return to action until December at the earliest.

Paul Pogba

Status: Out
Type of injury: Foot
Possible return date: November 10 (vs. Brighton & Hove Albion)

Solskjaer confirmed ahead of United's 1-0 win over Partizan that Pogba would not feature against Norwich as he continues to nurse a foot injury amid fears that he will not return until next month.

Axel Tuanzebe

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hip
Possible return date: Unknown

Tuanzebe was due to start against Liverpool last weekend, only to suffer a hip injury in the warm-up, and it remains unclear as to when the youngster will recover.

Nemanja Matic

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Unknown
Possible return date: October 27 (vs. Norwich City)

Solskjaer suggested earlier this month that Matic had been struggling with a minor problem for several weeks. The Serbian flew to Dubai during the week to speed up his rehabilitation and has an outside chance of making the squad on Sunday.

Diogo Dalot

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Groin
Possible return date: October 30 (vs. Chelsea)

The full-back is in the final stages of his recovery from a groin injury, which has impeded him throughout the campaign. However, Sunday's clash at Carrow Road is likely to arrive too soon for Dalot.

Luke Shaw

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: October 27 (vs. Norwich City)

Like Matic, Shaw has spent this week in the United Arab Emirates as he looks to quicken his rehabilitation following a thigh problem sustained during United's third game of the season. Solskjaer is unlikely to risk him this weekend but he may well return to the squad.

Timothy Fosu-Mensah

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

The youngster suffered knee ligament damage while on loan at Fulham last season and remains some way off returning to the pitch.

United have no players who are serving a suspension ahead of this game.
