Man United team news: Injury, suspension list vs. West Ham

Sports Mole rounds up all of Manchester United's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash with West Ham United.

Manchester United will be looking to make it back-to-back wins in the Premier League when they continue their season at home to West Ham United on Sunday night.

The Red Devils recorded a 2-0 victory over rivals Manchester City last weekend to return to second position in the table, but they are 14 points behind Pep Guardiola's side at this stage.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side were also in Europa League action on Thursday night, drawing 1-1 with AC Milan in the first leg of their last-16 tie at Old Trafford.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Man United's injury and suspension news ahead of the match with West Ham, who are currently fifth in the table.

Man United are still without Juan Mata due to an unspecified issue, and it is currently unclear when the experienced attacker - out of contract this summer - will be able to return.

Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Phil Jones has not played for Man United for over a year due to a long-term knee injury, but the centre-back is in the final stages of his recovery and could potentially be available before the end of the season.

Paul Pogba

Possible return date: Unknown

Paul Pogba was forced off the field in the first half of the clash with Everton on February 6 after picking up a thigh problem. The France international was expected back in early March, but Solskjaer recently said that the midfielder would be out for 'a few more weeks'.

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Knock
Possible return date: March 14 (vs. West Ham)

Edinson Cavani made his return from a muscular problem against Crystal Palace in the league on March 3 but has missed the last two matches with a knock, and he remains a doubt for Sunday's contest.

Donny van de Beek

Possible return date: March 14 (vs. West Ham)

Van de Beek has recently been on the sidelines with a muscular problem, with his last outing coming in the middle of February. The issue is not thought to be serious, but the Netherlands international was again absent against Milan on Thursday and remains a doubt for the clash with West Ham.
