Manchester United team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Everton

Sports Mole rounds up Manchester United's injury and suspension news ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash with Everton.

Manchester United will be looking to return to winning ways in the Premier League when they welcome Everton to Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored a last-gasp winner to hand the Red Devils a huge three points in the Champions League on Wednesday against Villarreal.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side lost 1-0 at home to Aston Villa in the Premier League last weekend, though, and will be determined to bounce back in the league ahead of the international break.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Man United's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest with Everton, who have made a bright start to the campaign under Rafael Benitez.

Marcus Rashford

Status: Out
Type of injury: Shoulder
Possible return date: October 16 (vs. Leicester City)

Marcus Rashford underwent surgery to address a shoulder problem over the summer but has now returned to training and could be available for the clash with Leicester City after the international break.

Amad Diallo

Status: Out
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: October 16 (vs. Leicester City)

Solskjaer recently revealed that Amad Diallo, who was linked with a loan move over the summer, is likely to be available for selection after the international break.

Harry Maguire

Status: Out
Type of injury: Calf
Possible return date: Unknown

Harry Maguire had to be substituted in the second half of Saturday's clash with Villa, having taken a heavy kick to the calf, and the club captain is now facing "a few weeks" on the sidelines.

Luke Shaw

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Muscle
Possible return date: October 2 (vs. Everton)

Luke Shaw picked up a muscular problem in the first half of the match against Villa, which led to his withdrawal, and the left-back was not involved in Wednesday's clash with Villarreal, so he remains a doubt for this contest.

MAN UNITED'S SUSPENSION LIST

Man United have no players suspended for this match, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka's ongoing ban only relating to Champions League fixtures.
