Ashley Young: 'United can bounce back from Real Madrid defeat'

Ashley Young hopes that Manchester United can put their exit from the Champions League behind them to seal a place in the FA Cup semi-finals.

Ashley Young has said that Manchester United can bounce back from their 2-1 defeat to Real Madrid earlier this week to progress in the FA Cup.

The Premier League leaders face cup holders Chelsea tomorrow for a place in the semi-finals.

The midfielder told Sky Sports News: "Of course we were disappointed in midweek but the club has bounced back many times and that is what we will be looking to do on Sunday.

"There is no point dwelling on it. You have to move on fairly quickly. When something like that happens you reflect on it the next day and there are times when it is talked about.

"Everyone in the squad wants to win the cup. Not many of the players have won it and this game gives us a chance to get another step further on."

United have not lifted the FA Cup since 2004.
