Midfielder Paul Pogba says that he has no regrets about leaving Juventus in order to return to Manchester United, despite a mixed spell at Old Trafford.

Midfielder Paul Pogba has said that he "does not regret his choice" of leaving Juventus for Manchester United.

Pogba enjoyed an impressive period in Turin before returning to Old Trafford in 2016, but the France international has endured a mixed spell under manager Jose Mourinho.

The 25-year-old has been frequently linked with a move away from the North-West giants, but ahead of facing his former club in the Champions League, the playmaker has indicated that he remains committed to helping United 'achieve their goals'.

At a press conference, Pogba told reporters: "Choosing to come back to United, first of all, was my choice. Juve were playing Champions League and Manchester were playing Europa. I don't regret my choice.

"I know Manchester in the last few years haven't been at the top, but I came back to help the team and get them back to the top. We have a lot of goals. For me, it's not changed, I don't regret it at all. I'm very happy to come back to United and I'm sure we will come back to the best."

Pogba is a likely starter on Wednesday night as United look to boost their chances of progressing through to the last 16.
