Robin van Persie's 29th-minute goal has drawn Manchester United level in their Champions League group stage clash with CFR Cluj.

The home side took the lead in the 14th minute through Pantelis Kapetanos, thanks to some good work down the right by Modou Sougou.

The Senegalese international latched onto a long cross-field ball before cutting the ball back to the striker, who dispatched unmarked from around 10 yards out.

United got back on level terms when Van Persie turned Wayne Rooney's floated free kick into the net with his shoulder.

The Dutchman jumped too early and could not get his head onto the ball cleanly.
