Sevilla rule out move for Manchester City's Jesus Navas

Sevilla rules out a return for Manchester City winger Jesus Navas, who has been linked with his former club.

Sevilla vice-president Jose Maria del Nido has ruled out making a move for Manchester City winger Jesus Navas this summer.

There were suggestions that the Spanish outfit would try to lure Navas back to the club after he departed for City in 2013 following a 13-year spell.

However, Del Nido has revealed that the 29-year-old has no interest in leaving the former Premier League giants.

"Navas is a player we'd love to have at Sevilla, but we have not made any attempt at negotiations to do so," talkSPORT quotes Del Nido as saying. "We don't think Navas, at this time, is interested in changing Manchester for Sevilla."

Navas scored just one goal in 47 appearances for City last season.
