Sevilla slam Paris Saint-Germain for Kevin Gameiro negotiations

Sevilla criticise Paris Saint-Germain for their conduct during the transfer of striker Kevin Gameiro.

Sevilla have revealed that Paris Saint-Germain are the worst negotiators that they have ever done business with.

The Spanish club's chairman Jose Maria del Nido was critical of the French side following Kevin Gameiro's move to Sevilla for £6.5m, which was completed on Thursday.

"The fee was £6.5m plus add-ons, payable in several installments," he told reporters. "They demanded payment up front at the last moment.

"That was just one of many 'adventures' in this affair. One problem followed another. Fortunately, the player really pushed to arrange things.

"It's the worst transfer [negotiation] I've had to work on in my career."

Gameiro has been capped eight times by France and has scored one goal.
