Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero refuses to rule out leaving the club next year and is expecting offers to be made from clubs abroad.

Sergio Aguero has admitted that he has 'not ruled out' leaving Manchester City when his contract expires at the end of next season.

The Argentina international has cemented his status as a City legend during his nine years at the Etihad Stadium, becoming the club's all-time leading scorer in November 2017.

Aguero's goals have helped the Citizens to 10 major honours, including four Premier League titles, but the Champions League has so far eluded them.

As the 31-year-old approaches the final 12 months of his existing deal, he has confessed that he will soon have a big decision to make.

"I'm not thinking about what I am going to do," he told El Chiringuito. "I know that every day my contract is closer to expiring. Probably there will be some offers but we'll see.

"For now I just want to try to win the Champions League with City. That would be an incredible achievement for me and the club.

"But I haven't really thought about what I will do after 2021. I don't rule out going back to Spain, or going to any country. I don't know what I will do.

"Today I feel good and comfortable in Manchester. I want to do everything in the club in the best terms, then we'll see."

Real Madrid are among the clubs to have been linked with Aguero, who spent five seasons in Spain with Atletico Madrid prior to joining City in 2011.
